Linking a Learner BLOG Guide to a Symbaloo TIle
Just wanted to check how to link a Learner Blog Guide to a Symbaloo tile.
Having some problems getting the link to work.
Should I edit the Blog Reader setting under permissions and change to public??
Just wondered how the Lead and Facilitate Learner Blog was created and linked.

Rubric format in Google docs
Noticed in Lead and Facilitate Assessment from the Symbaloo link that the Rubric has a different header - ITAFE instead of NBN project.
Should we update this to our Rubric header before loading our Rubric into Google DOCS and linking to a Symbaloo tile as our Assessment.

Question time for Webmixes
Hi everyone,
We (Nic, Carly and I)are working on the plans for our webmixes today and have a couple of questions that may require some thought.
1. Who from/ where do we get the unit introductions , as we want to provide the links for our tiles?
2. If the SAGS are going to be saved to Google docs as PDFs, can we assume that the Learners do not have to sign for their SAGS as they do in the classroom? Should the SAG be uploaded as a PDF Form and their electronic signature be sufficient?
3. Do we need to have a standard document in regard to Plagiarism etc with a link to the document. Checked the iTAFE Lead and Facilitate mix and couldn't find it.
4. Do we still need to cover anything in terms of harassment/ Cyber Bullying ?
5. Is there a feedback form that the learners can use for the unit/course evaluation? Just a thought in terms of continuous improvement.
Facebook Group
Hi everyone - Nic, Jane and I are ticking some boxes today which feels GREAT !!
We were discussing the fact that we believe we should have an NBN - SME facebook page so we can start sharing information and start using social media in this learning context.
Is this something we can create, or Louise, does this need to come from your end.
I look forward in hearing from you !

The 30 Best Web 2.0 Tools For Teachers
Hi All,
I found this website with awesome web tools to help you make teaching interactive and fun.
Have a look at the slide share that briefly describes what each program does and maybe start with 10 tools that resonate with you as a teacher.
If you find jumping from one tool to the next too overwhelming, just concentrate on learning one program at a time.
I like to set a timer for 1hour or even half hour and even if it's all Japanese to me, I don't give up until the timer goes off. If you still feel confused when your time is up, don't be discouraged, your sub-conscious has actually absorbed a lot more than you think and when you next get back on you'll be surprised how your levels of understanding have increased.
Focus and consistency is the key to learning these tools.
Good luck!
